David Hopkins
V.P. of Community Investments
David Hopkins is the Vice president of Community Investments of the Hop On A Cure Foundation – he’s also Hop’s little brother. David holds a bachelor's degree from Auburn University and a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Florida. He has always been passionate about serving others. From his early experiences as a Boy Scout, to his love for education, helping others has always been at the core of his spirit.
David’s current role with Hop On A Cure is to oversee grant making as well as project management. There is great beauty in working towards curing this malicious disease and he considers it a great honor to work on behalf of the incredibly brave community of people who are affected by ALS as well as those who are no longer with us. His hope is to help bring connection, compassion and a cure to this community.
When he’s not helping to resolve one of the world’s most complex medical mysteries, he loves spending time with his wife, Milla, his son, Doc, and their giant mastiff, Zeus. He also enjoys live music, friends, being in nature, camping, traveling, eating, mountain biking, and surfing.
