He began working in the Finance Department at The Home Depot in 1984.  He held various accounting and finance positions for the ensuing 14 years. In 1998, he was promoted to Vice President & Corporate Controller and then to Vice President of Finance for the Eastern Division of HD in 2001.  In 2003, he left Home Depot to spend time with his growing family.

In 2005, Gregg was offered an amazing opportunity to once again work for Arthur - who at this point had transitioned from HD and had incorporated a non-profit Foundation as well as several for-profit businesses. He accepted the position of Vice President & Controller for Mr. Blank's family of businesses. He was promoted to Senior VP of Finance & Investments and ultimately to Chief Financial Officer in 2018.

Gregg oversaw financial reporting, accounting, tax, budgeting and forecasting, and various banking relationships for Arthur’s Family Office and Foundation, his ranches in Montana and a private investment company. He also served as the financial liaison between the Family Office and the sports teams (Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United).

Gregg retired in 2024 and is now able to devote more time to his passion - golf. Gregg is married to Janet Vickery and they have a blended family consisting of 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
