Rob Faulstich spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry in leadership roles spanning bench chemistry to commercial analytics. He retired in 2019 and has been devoting much of his time and talent to ALS advocacy, which started when his sister-in-law was diagnosed. When Rob asked her how he should prioritize his advocacy, she said simply, "Find a cure." This continues to be his goal. He is a NEALS research ambassador, served as a reviewer for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program, is an active member of the I AM ALS clinical trials team, and leads the Scientific Review Committee for Hop On A Cure. He reviews grant applications, maintains a database of ALS clinical trials, engages drug sponsors at all stages of development, and continues to find ways to assist the community with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for this devastating disease.
